Discusses common struggles and solutions people face. Topics include: seperation and divorce, addictions and co-dependency, adolescence and developmental issues, depression, anger, death, and suicide.

EN 111: teaches the fundaments of essay writing and will develop proficiency in various essay formats while emphasizing the proper use of grammar. Creative writing and journaling will also be explored.

EN 115: students will develop analytical skills to discover and support ideas. They will organize an essay thesis while examining various styles and genres of literature. Focus will be on the college-level writing process, revising, and editing for readership.

Note: These two courses are being offered concurrently. Students will register for the appropriate class based on writing level.

Provides the framework for studying and interpreting the Bible. It develops skill in proper biblical exegesis. Resources such as lexicons, concordances, and other references are also discussed.
